Geez...it's simple science at work here. No seal or anything else is going to prevent this from happening. I live in a super-humid area and I've had it happen on other cars also. It dries right up, and leaves no residue.

Mine did the same this week, but it was really hot and humid that day. It was the first time and I'm not too worried about it. Auto radios are not sealed against water, they are electronics and need to allow airflow which helps keep parts cool. If it happens regularly then I would worry.

I'd say take it back, but if you cannot show them the problem in action I think you have no hope of getting them to do anything.

With how hot it is the last couple days it is normal for the a/c cooled car to create some on either side of the display. Mine did it yesturday and only plan to have it dealer 'fixed' if it happens repeatedly(several times a month or so).

Too funny mine did it once and in the exact location. It never happened again. meh! no big deal, not worth taking it in.
