I'm going to try and make it and will be there at the same time as you. Where are you going to park?
Don't be too hard on your daughter, at least she's driving an American Muscle Car, and not a "ricer".
You must of had some positive influence on her.
Hope to see and meet you all this Saturday.

Let's hope it clears up, I noticed it changed, for the worse, again, but maybe it will blow over. The percentage of rain is only 40% (I know 40% too much )

I found out last night, from a forum member, that the east parking lot has apparently been fenced off for the start of the up coming construction. This is going to make it quite interesting to see how the rest of the show is going to be set up and fair in the weeks to come. Obviously, their useable space is going to shrink and I would like to see how their going to utilize the space they have.

I'm sorry for your loss... haha just kidding!

The new chargers are pretty freakin sexy, and since it's your daughter I'm sure you don't want her tearing up the streets in a fast-as-hell camaro

Maybe we should start up our own section in the 'Lowe's parking lot?

Not sure I can make it tonight.
Driving back from Norwalk, OH.

Great to see everyone out yesterday, and glad the weather cleared up, it brought out a lot of people. It was nice to catch up with my corvette friends as well.

Joe, it was nice to meet you, your ZL1 is a great looking car, and congratulations to your daughter, again, on her Charger SRT8.

It was quite interesting to see how all the cars were scattered all over the place yesterday. The east parking lot has been fenced off for contruction, CDN Tire is open late, so customer cars still in the lot.
This show is going to experience many obstacles for the rest of this year and in the future. They will not be able to control where people park and separate the generations of cars.
It will be interesting to see what happens to this show in the years to come, if it lasts that long at it's current location.

I thank you very much kind sir ...was nice meeting you, and all the other Camaro fans.
What are peoples thoughts on possibly having everyone show up after 9pm? Lot will be clear and more than enough room for 100 Camaros or more! We can all park where all the classics where. Just a thought,at least we won't get roasted by the sun lolz!

If the Newmarket show gets rained out on Sunday, and if & when I get through waxing the car Saturday, I may come down to the show.

It was great to meet you all, with so many great cars, you should always park them together at the shows.

The show seemed really crazy this week and I felt like screaming after driving 'round and 'round trying to find anything that remotely resembled a parking space. Guess people either have to go early or late inorder to park anywhere these days. Don't think this show will last past the Summer, a new location will have to be considered, unfortunately.

I got there at the same time, and there's not much organization anymore. They try to push you closer to the store if you have a newer car. I also heard that someone (don't know who) was going around to get people to sign some kind of petition.
No one came up to me or anyone in our row, and really don't know who and/or what they're petitioning against.
I have a suspicion but won't say here.

I think my Saturday nights are going to become free, again, before the end of the "driving season".

Petition

The petition is with respect to the provincial government trying to force the older cars into the drive clean program. The MOE (Ministry of the Environment) is also cracking down on older cars with newer engines. If you install a new craite engine they want you to have all the modern emissions equipment as well.

The show traditionally took place in two lots, now with one closed for coming construction, everyone is compressed into the one remaining and it's already divided into classics and shoppers, since Canadian Tire stays open late, so do the shoppers and their cars, thus the creation of non-stop circling for spaces. There's a lot working against the show unfortunately, something has gotta give. Until then, going early or passing by late, may be temporary solutions, maybe Lowe's could work as a holding place until spots open up? May give it another try and hope for the best...

This Saturday was not as crazy as the last, able to get the odd opening to park. However, did hear the show may be considering a move to the Queensway Cathedral, but NOT 100% on this, anyone else know more info?
