Hey SacValley's,

Time to put together next months event. I am going to put a couple places out there that have already been suggested. You guys feel free to throw some other stuff out as well. We will take suggeastions til Monday night, then put a poll out. Also give me some input on available weekends so we can try to make it work for everyone but popsicle boy, cuz nothing works for him....

Wine Tasting trip to Napa
Wine tasting trip to Jackson/Ione
One day trip to So. Lake Tahoe
Day trip to Marine World

What else you got?
What weekend works?

Hey chuck, man that's a tuff decision because that all sounds fun. But a trip to Tahoe would be fun just a little more to me

I have a great canyon carving drive we can take highway 70 along the Feather river canyon up to Quincy and come out in Truckee or Reno and take 80 home. I've taken it before and it's a great drive. We could do an overnight during Hot August Nights or just a day trip, I could go either way. Just a thought.

Hot August Nights runs the 7th-12th and if we are gonna do it we need to make reservations now, hotels fill up fast.

I think most hotels are booked at this point. Look to hotels near Reno.

All of this sounds great!!! I like the drive up 70 to Truckee. Have never taken that route before and the scenic route will allow for some awesome driving. Hot Aug Nites could be a perfect ending to that trip.

I looked online today and there are rooms available for sat. at legacy,grand Sierra and the nugget (others have availability but they want you to stay 2 nights) I'm sure they won't last. They are around 2bills a night so if we want to do it better book now.

where are all the camaro enthusiasts? Do yo u guys want to do things? I need some input.........We are already going to Reno for the night on the 11th.....How about we invade Lockeford on the 20th od July???? Lockeford Springs has a little get together every other Friday noght. Good place to hang out and see everybody for a few hours and eat some pizza or a burger....Kyle can you confirm this next friday night? Would like to see your smiling faces and get some input....Also, I have put off trying to come up with a formal executive board but i have come to the realization that it is needed. I cant do everything alone. I dont have the time nor energy. Ken and his lady are spending some serious hours on the website and i need to get some energetic people to grab ahold and run with some things.....If you are interested in the following volunteer positions, please PM me or text me. They are going to get filled so if you have any inkling of being an influence on how things run, please jump in now....Most of these positions are wide open so dont think I have pre-conceived notions of who should be in them.....

El Presidente (to be right about everyting)
Vice President (To tell the El Presidente he is right about everything)
Secretary (doesnt have to be a woman either you sexist pigs

)
marketing / advertising (Website management / graphic design)
Cruise Director (events organizer)

Chuck, pretty damn funny, I don't know about Lockford Springs yet, I'll have to check into that one, as far as which direction for Reno I'm thinkin im taken the canyon on the way home cause 80 will be busy on the way back but Im willing to take it on the way up too, it's a fun road.
