So let me get this right. I can go buy a new SS take it for a trip to say Indy for a few days and then say I don't like the car and get all my money back?

I am using the .gm family first discount, it's preferred pricing and Eva. The dealer never mentioned the $500 cash today.

Employee cannot return the car,
but should get the $500...,
If dealer is participating.

Recheck with your dealer.

1. We have the GM employee discount and are going to buy either the 2012 or 2013 2SS.

Q. In your opinion with difference of about $1,500.00 bucks between the two (exact equipment but the standard changes obviously) would the trade value down the road offset the price difference?

Really only YOU...can answer that...

* How long do you typically keep a car?
*How many miles do you drive a year?
*Are the equipment changes important to you?
* A purchase with a GM Employee Discount is not available for return.
* Employee Discount is $2000 for a 2012 vs $1000 for a 2013..

*You can have it now....or wait....

If.... it was a breakeven...

Which would YOU be happier with?

Thank you, we had a 2002 Firebird that we sold in 2005 with 5K miles on it. I am guessing we would probably put a few more miles on the Camaro as back than we both worked 2 jobs. We would still have the Firebird but is black and we couldn't stand the cleaning everyday. We bought it GMS in Aug of 2002 and sold it for $500.00 than we paid for it Oct of 2005.

I want a 2012 ZL1 now then if this applies.

Curious to know now though if a ZL1 is being sold at MSRP how much of a discount are we receiving. It says the Total Confidence pricing means ALL incentives apply.

I'm US military and have USAA, so does that really not matter?

Well that sounds like a nice offer, but the only good thing about it really is the rebate offer. Reading through the terms and conditions, you don't get back any dealer fees, licensing, titling or registration fees, finance charges, etc. You only get the price you paid for the car itself plus sales tax. Then you still gotta have it insured for the time you own it. So returning it would really lose you a decent chunk of change, so there'd be no point to buying it to return it and a $500 rebate isn't really that much on most vehicles(though every bit does help). Not saying it's a bad deal, but it's not really something that would entice me to buy if I hadn't already decided to do so.

Oh, and I find it kinda funny that they specifically state that the agreement does not apply and they will not provide payment if you die.

i have a red 2012 Ss/RS auto. Get the 2013!! The touch screen alone does it, not to mention the new exhaust and better color choices.

Becky, a couple weeks ago I went to every dealer in my area, phx arizona, and they all have the ZL1 marked up in price and now even their online pricing reflects a dealer markup! I couldn't believe it! Isn't there some way I can go to these dealers and say, you have to honor GM's pricing under this program?? Any help is appreciated! (also, i'm on my second camaro from the same dealer that won't honor standard pricing)
