A big shout out from NY to all those dealers selling at MSRP in GA. It's the american way to do business not the greedy bastards who I wish GM closes them down. Took me 1 month to find a dealer whos selling at the normal MSRP price and to all dealers who are normal I wish you the best of business cause you deserve to be in business, and to those price gaugers I wish you hell on earth.

No doubt. Did you ORDER at MSRP or buy one off the lot at MSRP? If the latter, way to go!

Thanks for the info everyone. Dealers will eventually recognize that word travels even faster via the internet - especially through this forum.

My 2SS next year will be ordered through Terry Smith @ Gordon Chevrolet in Orange Park, FL (Jacksonville area).

I ordered through Bellamy Strickland back in October. Asked them then and now about GMS pricing and they will not honor it. They are selling the cars at MSRP though.

Now, ORDERING a vehicle for anything other than MSRP shouldn't be expected. You shouldn't expect to pay less than sticker for a special order, but you sure as hell shouldn't have to pay more. Ordinarily, I say only Gentiles pay retail
Carl Black does absolutely suck for pricing. I went there to buy my duramax and they wanted full MSRP PLUS their bs paint protection AND a $600 paperwork fee. I walked out, drove about 100 miles down to Newnan and went to SouthTowne. They dropped the price to what I wanted, PLUS a spray in bedliner, AND they didn't even have it in stock so they dealer transferred the truck the next day... Carl Black called me back two days later and tried to work with me. I reminded them that they had their chance and that the trucks will rot on their lot.

Go to Southtowne and ask for Baine! I guarantee you WILL NOT be dissapointed. Tell him David Jackson sent you.

I just bought a GXP from them below MSRP too... 1 of only 45 Pacific Slate Metallics!

Wynn Pontiac in Cartersville has a SIM 1ss, pretty base other than stripes. Asking $45k. Rediculous.

Got a chance to stop in and talk with Shayne over there at Team Chevy Northpoint...hell of a guy. If you are a local I highly recomend you stop and by and shoot the breeze if not buy a Camaro from him. I was highly impressed with Shayne and will calling him when I go to look for my 06 Z06.

P.S. He is selling his to us at MSRP...all day long, and apparently was getting some of ya'lls cars in this week so if it was yours speak up I wanna see pictures.

Shayne, you had better be in that pink shirt when I buy a car from you one of these days...cause I am gonna be wearing one too.

I bought mine from Steve Rayman, and they tried to the 5k over invoice. With USAA I paid 1K under invoice. You just have to know how to handle a dealership.

I was over there last week and they had two Victory Red LT RS's and 1 Vic Red 2SS RS which the salesman said he tried to buy but they wanted a mark up from even him.
He confirmed that they purchased the car for 40K and that they wanted to atleast get that much for it.

I shrugged and said ah...I'll wait, and he mentioned that he knew they would be selling the next few at sticker...what ever that means.

Hardy Chev in Dallas

Hey guys. I ordered my Camaro from Hardy Chevrolet in Dallas GA and got it for MSRP. The standard practice right now, as I have noticed through several dealerships, is anything off the lot will be 3-5k over with room to negotiate, while anything ordered is MSRP with no haggle room.

This has all been confirmed through several dealerships in the area save one. Steve Raymond Chevrolet. They have marked them up 5-9k ordered and lot. Also, I just have to say how rude they are there. I went to this dealership on a lunch break and saw the first Camaro they got on the lot and the guy new nothing about it and treated me like garbage. I put the word out to 7 dealerships that I was interested in purchasing, Steve Raymond Chev, despite me letting them all know exactly what I wanted (2SS/RS, Cyber Grey w/Black stripes, sunroof) were constantly sending me emails and phone messages trying to sell me 1LT and 2LT for 38k. I got my 2SS exactly the way I wanted for 40k.

Bottom line for me is Steve Raymond was rude, un-educated about their own inventory and very lacking in customer service.

Hardy Chev. Treated me with respect, and the dealer, Dan Whorely was very knowledgable about both the car and options. Just wanted to thank them.

The other places were about normal, including Thornton, at least they recognized what I was looking for.

Just took delivery of mine 2SS last week. I let Andean, Northpoint and Hendricks all bid on it. In the past Northpoint had my business for two other chevy's and they never responded. Hendrick's in Buford is it. Awesome service department and sales manager is realistic in the sales. PM me if you want the contacts.

Hendricks in Buford wanted a bit much

Looked at some nice Camaros on the lot at Hendricks in Buford a couple of weeks ago, but each had a "package" tacked on that was $7995, that was worth nowhere near that amount. Uh, I can wait.
