If I saw that on the street, I'd be extremely tempted to run up behind it and tip it over its own nose. Why must futuristic be portrayed as goofy and awkward?

If something looks odd enough it will always get looks, doesn't mean its a good thing.

I’m with ya… I think it’s a neat idea and would love to take one for a spin… And for those who think it’s not safe you’d be surprised how much protection the right materials can provide…

That's my main concern. That'll have to be one heck of a strong, reinforced frame.

Thanks for moving this tag.. didn't know that there was another thread.

If you read on the site, they have done front and offset front tests and have passed so far they are currently running the side crash tests. Engineering crumple zones and such into this car have been thought of from the start like most new models on the streets today. They are very safe. Just think of it like an F1 racer.. there aint much.. but its designed to keep the driver safe even at extraordinary speeds. The down side.. after a wreck its a complete loss, there is no "fix it" and go with the same vehicle, But really, at 27g's.. thats not really a loss.

^Didn't move the post...must have been another mod.

Glad to know it'll keep you safe. But, if it's wrecked, ouch...I'd imagine insurance would probably be quite high knowing that if it's wrecked, that it...it's done.
