Bc or Megan coil overs

Okay l got two deals where I can get bc for half the price of new I mean half $475 The guy had them for 5 months and decide he didn't want to install them because he don't want holes in his trunk. The other is for megan also a little under the purchase price around 10%. The question is which one is better and why?

Thanks

For half price it would be hard to pass up the BC in my opinion.
I don't want to do the holes in the trunk either, but my car is really just a DD, so with some research maybe just find the setting needed for street use , set them before install and call it done.
If you decide against the BC , see if you can list them here to let another member get a sweet deal.

You don't HAVE to drill. But it's more convenient.

Not with ALL brands of coilovers.

We run an inverted shock design with our coilovers which places the adjuster at the bottom of the car. This means you do not have to drill or use an adjuster extension to use our adjusters.

Keep in mind some manufacturers do not transfer warranties. From talking to various Camaro owners I do not feel as if BC or Megan are the best choice.

That's interesting. I love my Megan coilovers and have yet to find one bad review of Megan or BC coilovers anywhere.

I would like to know what Camaro owners he talked to who didn't like their BC coilovers also. I am very happy with mine.

I'm sure the BC/Megan works just fine for most of the masses because they will never see the track. I'm sure they work alright on the track too. But if I was getting into some serious tracking, I would pony up for some Pfadts. I'm happy with my BC coilovers for a daily driver.

No issues with my BC's either. Great coilover for daily drivers and limited track use.

Personally I don't see the big deal with putting the holes in the trunk. No one ever sees them and I've never had water or anything come up by the coilover. 2" holes aren't going to weaken he car either. Just my opinion though. I drilled the holes in my trunk with no regrets or issues.

Do you have to drill holes with the KWs? I have heard lots of positive reviews on KW and they are very respected by the Audi/BMW/MB/VW guys.

I don't either the I guy I got them from did. The only racing will be drag and that will be once or twice a month. So by what you said I am okay then. Thats what I wanted someone with either giving a unbias opinion. Thanks

All I'll say is check the pricing on KWs. IMO they aren't in the same price category as BC. If you're going to spend that kind of money on coilovers you need to be looking at the Pfadt's coilovers.

No drilling is required for the KW kits. However the top hats on the Camaro are alil funny.
