Anyone upset with the SS/RS badge?

Was talking to some old-timers at work and they said that the old camaros would have the SS and RS badges right there together and some of them were upset to find out they just color the SS badge red if you get the RS package (If i'm not mistaken).

I personally don't care too much, but i think it would be neater if it was a SS/RS badge.

RS equals Rally Sport

SS equals Super Sport

It would be silly to call the car both now wouldn't it...

Just like you don't call a Mustang Cobra a Mustang GT Cobra...

1st gen cars that where both rs and ss only had ss emblems. the hideaway lights and red taillights (back-up lights in the valance below the taillights) distingushed it.

This Camaro has styling cues from the '69, They did not want a produce a replica '69. Therefore new features put in place. Something to think about.

Nope, not upset. Love to get the car and see the SS badge in person though. I feel like a expecting father that hasn't seen an ultrasound or know the sex of the baby. Also, you don't get to test drive the baby before you get it!!! GM, where's my baby???

I like the Red SS Badges, I think a SS/RS badge would have looked a little off with the font they used, maybe not.
Originally wasn't it the rumor that they were going to just put RS badges on the SS-RS cars? I'm glad they didn't do that.

SS badging always overrode RS badging, I never saw any Camaro with both.

SS was enough, dont want overkill. Actually i could have gone without the side CAMARO lettering on the fender and the chicklet.

so how about... RSS..... Rally Super Sport.... nah....

let the old-timer guys keep their 69 way of thinking.. welcome to 2009... RS/SS is just too much for the grill... but i am sure aftermarket will have the solution.

I always thought the RS should be a lower model than the SS, not an optional package. it wouldn't be bad except if when you change your order the RS can be accidentally deleted by a computer glitch.
