Remote Antenna.....

Does anybody know where the key fob (remote) antenna is in the car? I change the radio system and I notice now my remote signal is not not as far as it use to be. I have to be about 4 to 5 feet from the car for it to work. I change the battery on the remote so I know its not the remote.

It is to the right of your rearview mirror, the black plastic cover.

I have noticed this exact same thing. I changed all my speakers, added dynamat, etc and the remote was fine. When I replaced my radio though, now I have to be close for it to work.

If there is one thing that impresses me about this car, is the long distance the remote works from. I work on a the 4th floor next to a window. I can see my car in the parking lot about 150 yards away. I can fully operate the remote from my office. Never have I had a remote with that kind of distance.

Agreed! I can operate the remote from so far away. I love it. I'm guessing that having the Remote Startup antenna on the windshield helps extend the range.
