So I was driving through Wall-mart after shopping, and everywhere I go I always get some head turns (in which I love). But this time was different I stop so people cross into the parking lot and there was a couple with two kids pushing a cart towards the parking lot and the lady pointed toward me and her husband (I suppose) he look and gave me a thumbs up and the kids was smiling too. Nothing special right, wrong the lady couldn’t take her eyes of my car and I, she kept looking as she pass and as she got into the parking lot she look back at me, (with my windows down sunglasses on

) with a sexy smile while biting on her pointing finger and smile again and waved. I am a married man of course I told my wife this story and laugh but does stuff like this happens to guys or gals?

I saw a couple of chicks walking right next to me and giving me thumbs up for the car then one of them said nice car man , so yes it is a magnet for all sorts of people and all ages , I've had thumbs up from a lot of people with my car especially that it's a rare species here in my country

These threads always make me wonder if its just

I have yet to have a single woman throw herself at me over this car, or even compliment it. I'm just not buying that these cars attract that much attention because honestly....they are everywhere.

cause you live in Texas, look at the sales figures in texas, take a road trip down to Laguna Niguel, CA, the first minute you will get like 20 thumbs ups, and then there are always the Hondas in SoCal which tend to give you another finger.

I get Looks all the time good and bad but this was the first time I saw a female lust over the car and she was with her significant other, even with my wife in the car with me she points out ppl checking us out. And I feel like when I am driving anyways all eye are on me and I bet for those who do mods they feel the same way… I even had some females in a Honda civic pull beside me at a light smiled and said don’t embarrassed them.

Have a big feeling that it all depends on where you live.

My opinion is the bigger the area, less attention is paid.

Here in the DC metro area, most people are snobs and aren't impressed by much.

I always wave to other Gen5s when I see them.

I had a group of college-age girls walk out in front of me in a crosswalk, and I braked briskly to avoid running them all over. One exclaimed, "You almost got killed!" Another girl said, "Yeah, but at least you would have been killed by an awesome car." Made me laugh pretty hard. My car always seems to attract attention. Hell, I can't stop staring at it when I walk away from it in a parking lot, and I've had the thing for over 2 years!
