Disappointed with Autometer

I've taken this pillar out And re installed it a couple hundred times over an hour and a half and get the same result every time. The cheap construction prevents it from sitting correctly and it comes undone every time.

The one thing this pillar has going for it is that it looks good. I wish there was a three gauge pillar but nobody makes one for our cars so I might be replacing this wonderful functioning one with a DIY customized oem pillar for three.

Mine sat perfect.... something else's is wrong maybe the plastic bracket that holds it from flying off when the airbag is deployed...

Also make sure it's all the way seated into the dash with the groves...

I have one too. It popped off when I first got it. I discovered it just wasn't snapped in all the way. Perfect every since.

Autometer is extremely popular with the diesel crowd. I've never seen one simply detach like that. Maybe you just got unlucky with yours lol

Mine sneaks out a very little bit every once in awhile. I think it's from the force of closing the door.

Mine doesn't sneak anywhere. It won't stay period and even it if it was a little bit from the door closing id still be pissed. If I pay for a product I want one that works.

MrGood...i had no issues with it at all other than my own stupidity, took a minute to get past it. there is a black retainer tab that holds it in place at the top. chances are its just not connected correctly to the pillar. no fear...tracy will get you hooked up.
