Anyone ever run this tire:

I just ordered these to use in the true street class. I had gd look with an 18" M&H drag radial so this should be no different.

Thanks!

I believe MightyMouse, well known 4th gen car (8.5's street car) ran some and did well with them.

Im wondering about these as well. I wanted to go with some MT's but dont know how much a 26" diameter tire will affect the car over a 28".... anyone know?

What gear is in your car? That tire will def need a retune for the shifting.

May to short. I don't have the formula but that'll give you a working rear ration of over 4.00. Def play havoc on shifting. When I was playing with hearing the 4.10 would make the car shift into 5th right before the finish. I would stay away from the tire. May be a tuning nightmare.

Wider isnt always better, but im thinking the same way you are at this point. Many IRS's have changed from 345/325/315 to a 295 and 275 and hook a lot better, but im going to try the 325 and see what we get. Ive done almost every trick in the book at this point to get my car to hook up and its still blowing the tires off with just a little throttle off the start. The 325's better work for another $550+

You don't want a slick? The 295, 17" mt ET street worked in my car in the low 600's. At 650 they wouldn't hold the car.
