Why would they use a Toyota...Ford, Dodge, Chevy. Was there like a highest bidder deal?

Not exactly. The California Science Center and Toyota are starting to leak more information about why the Tundra was chosen.

Simply because Toyota and the CSC has had a partnership for 20 years.

I still don't see how it can pull 300,000 lbs....the max tow weight is like 20,000 lbs lol. They must have put a Chevy engine in it

Has it started moving yet? I can't see the vids/pics

Space Shuttle Atlantis Update

Inside Orbiter Processing Facility-2 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, work will begin soon to close and seal space shuttle Atlantis’ crew hatch for the final time. The orbiter is undergoing final preparations for its transfer to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor complex targeted for Nov. 2.

I still don't believe that they're aren't using an assist or anything to help the truck.

They have not pulled Endeavour by the Tundra yet.

Yea I'm thinking the blue things have engines and the truck is just for show...You know how oversized loads have pilot cars in order for them to be legal. I feel like the truck is there to make it a little more legalish lol.

If that POS Tundra breaks down in the middle of this whole thing I will NEVER let Toyota live it down.

The blue carrier does have engines in it It's towing Endeavour itself 11 3/4 miles out of 12 miles. But Toyota won't be using that carrier. They're using a couple trailers.

It won't break down. The Tundra can tow it. It's been caught on video practicing. Whether the trailers from Toyota really are normal... Well.. I don't know..
