Carbon Fiber ZL1 rockers, diffuser, rear spoiler and 1LE splitter

Hey guys, I know not everybody gets into the suspension section of the forum were I'm documenting my build, actually I think it's the least visited catagory, LOL but I though you guys might be a kick out of what we are doing. BTW, no laminating action over factory pieces here!

Primarily tracking as we have a lot of friends that are heavy into tracking and we want to be a part of it. The build part is only cool for a season, LOL

Thanks Mojave.

We posted better pics on the thread. Let us know what you think.

Also let us know if you'd like to see other pieces made out of carbon as we are going to be creating molds for other parts. ETA on the parts we are going to be creating mold for is 4 months.

Mounted the 2014 front bumper to see if our carbon fiber 2012- 13 1LE front splitter would fit. Unfortunately you can see it doesn't . We were hoping it would . Base on the overwhelming number of orders we've had for the 12-13 version............. one! LOL It doesn't do much for our enthusiasm to take on the project. Just purchasing the GM plastic version to take off molds is around $800. Not including all the logistics and cost of the molds. Let me know what you guys think.

On a different note, the cooling plate has been a hit. I can't wait folks to get theres. They are going to be extremely happy!

2014 carbon fiber 1LE splitter update:

I picked up the GM piece from my dealer today so that we can make molds. I notice theres some additional pieces of hardware that came in the box. Turns out you can't install the splitter without these additional pieces (SEE PIC BELOW). Unfortunately GM doesn't sell them separately. Meaning for everyone who doesn't have a 1LE, they would need to get the GM splitter just to pirate the hardware the install of carbon fiber version. Economically it doesn't make sense as the GM pieces retails for about as much as what we will sell the carbon version will. In essences this is a poor business decision on our part because it just shrunk our potential market even more. I was already hesitant as we had only sold one of the 1LE splitter that would fit the 2010 - 13. I'm going to go through with it just because I gave my word I would to a member who ask if we would. He might have the only 2014 carbon splitter in the country! LOL

These are extra pieces necessary to do the install.

Marty we already have the 2010-13 splitter mods made. I was referring to the 2014. So if you want one, let me know and I will see about getting an extra one done in the first batch.

We are also going to go ahead a make the 2014 splitter. I guess my last post might have been confusing as we are also going to make 2014. Plus I have some good new for the 14 owners, my parts guy was able to source the hardware for the install. Meaning evening if you don't have a 1LE, you can still get the install hardware through GM.

Guys to clarify, we are currently making the 20-13 splitter. We have three that are currently being produced. One was spoken for and I will have two in stock just in-case anybody else wants one, there wont be a wait.

On the 2014, we are in the process of making the molds. We will also pull three as soon as the molds are completed. One has been promise to a fellow 1LE member. The other two we will have again, just in-case somebody wants one.

Hey guys just thought I'd post some pics of Brian's AKA "ZL1 #586" beautiful triple black sporting our carbon fiber ZL1 rear spoiler, diffuser and rockers.

FYI, we are expecting 15 rear spoilers next week, of which 11 have already been spoken for. This means the next four orders will have no wait time! We also have an extra 1LE front splitter in stock, ready for shipping.

So we can have a cool 1LE with our carbon ZL1 spoiler and 1LE splitter hooked up in no time.

Here is a link to our sales thread with all the details: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=356583

Z/28 Carbon Fiber Aero package

Hey guys thought we share a rendering that was done for us by automotive designer Dan Steinhauser sporting our Z/28 carbon fiber aero pieces. We are debuting the pieces on our personal project "G5.R" and are making them available to the rest of the community. This is a rendering for another project he did for us. I will post the rendering for G5.R once hes done with it. G5.R will have the Z/28 rear spoiler, diffuser, rocker, flares, front splitter, lower grille made out of carbon along with a dry carbon hood, roof and trunk. For those of you who are not familiar with G5.R, here is the build thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285800

Note: For the lower grille, we have flushed out the recess for the license plate. This will make the lines flow better as the recess gives the side profile a bit of a beak look to it. We also eliminated the square cap on the passenger side of the grille.
