3M clear bra

Im wondering if any of the new camaro owners out there have put the 3M bra on their cars. If so how much? Do you like it, dislike it? I am considering it on mine. any input would be appreciated.

As long as they don't get too dinged up.

This is one thing I like about the design. You can put the clear bra on and not see a line.

A clear bra will be the first thing I do to my car. Here in AZ they are very needed. 3M has been making them for years and they have been on every car imaginable. If you do it yourself you would be looking at about 400 bucks. To have it done is about a k. There are several companies that will sell you the kit and have video on their sites about how to do it. Looks very simple but like all things you have to follow the steps.

I had mine put on tuesday !! Love it, looks great can't even tell it is there unless you really look. This is my first one, so we will see how it holds up. They say its covered for life, so we will see. Paid about $800 for it. Complete front end including GFX's / mirrors / door edge's / door handles / behind rear tires and trunk edge. I tried to take some pictures, but you really couldn't see it. But I can try again if you guys wanna see.

Didnt ask but with having 2 other cars with this would say first foot or so. I just don't want it on the hood this time around because of the stripes.

This is right on about what I got quoted too. I think mine was just above $500 for the fascia, mirrors and hood but I probably don't want to get the hood done.

I went to the 3M site for the clear bra, they have a certified installer in Hoffman Estates that seems to be the closest to me.

Recently 3m bought out their competitor invisisheild (sp?) . I think both products are similar but I have read the invisisheild is a little easier to install. I plan in doing my own. There are two companies that will sell you precut kits of either 3m or invisisheild. Not sure what the rules are in posting links to non-sponsers so I will not do so but you may want to do a google if you are considering doing this yourself. Also you can find video of the process on youtube.

I got it done over at Phillips Chevy in Frankfort, Call Jeff or Loui in Aftermarket. I got a little discount for being the ginnie pig, I think they were saying closer to $1000 for all that I had done. But tell them I sent you and if you have any problems pm me and I will help. They did an awesome job, they also tinted me windows too ! Looks sweat ! Very Happy !

Have the 3M clear bra on two of my rides and love it. You do not want to try and install this stuff on your own. You will be throwing the clear bra away and your money because the install got messed up. It looks alot easier to put on than it is. Plus I hear the pre cut ones are not as good as the custom cut ones. You get more coverage with the custom cut.
