Anyone going to get the new dual mode exhaust?
Just saw the post about the 2013 parts listing had an NPP exhaust for the LFX . This is the dual top one like on the ZL1.
Anyone planning on getting it?

At 1800 for the exhaust and and 500 for the deffisuer I highly doubt anyone in there right mind would retrofit this to their 10-12 camaro. I was thinking of buying the deffisuer but at that price I will either modify mine or stay with some large dual tips

Gmpartsdirect. Has the exhaust for around $11000 and the diffuser for $300. So its a full cat back exhaust with dual tips for $1400.
Solo runs $900, stainless works runs $1100, and ARK runs $1300. And none of those include a new diffuser. I think I'm going to get this, but it'll be a while before I can do it. So I'm curious if anyone else is going to do it earlier.

Can this even be done on the LLT?

The LLT and LFX are the same engine with a new cylinder head and intake manifold. all other parts are interchangeable.
From the cats back (and the internals of the engine) they are the same, so any LLT exhaust fits an LFX and Vice-Versa. (And of course any V8 exhaust will also fit, but that's a different thread.)

I believe it was a typo-it's only available for the V8. You could still get the NPP exhaust but it's like retrofitting the SS stock exhaust?

And to think I thought $400 installed for my Magnaflow exhaust for my '94 Camaro was expensive...

People are still talking about this exhaust and apparently even some dealers are saying it IS available for the V6.
I still think it could all be because of a mistake on the ordering guide...but maybe not?? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242827

I guess there is "NEW" information:
Available on SS with Manual Trans only and *NEW* also available on LT models in both manual and automatic transmission. Is the dual mode exhaust a guaranteed quad tip exhaust? Could it be possible that the same single tip system will be released with the dual mode technology? |

The NPP is the quad tip. Yes and apparently there is a part number for the V6 version, so it is sounding real.
What I want to know is what it is (for the V6). It is just a GMPP exhaust with quads, or is it a real dual mode exhaust?

Al O. Told me at the fest that all the 1LE parts will be available for the V6 in the future.

Yep...they will be available as parts for the SS, so I don't see why they wouldn't work for the V6 either.
