Ok guys. I know a few of you have already mentioned that you have gotten the app and set up a group or two.

List up the channels and your Zello Screen name you guys have already set up so everyone can join

OK, I'm brand new to Zelllo. When I joined the SE Fest Wed Camarovan it show 3 other group members online.
Question is: Do I have to add the group users to the contacts to have the program work?

No. if you are on the group, when you do the push-to-talk, it will broadcast to all members of the group simultaneously. if you want to talk to individual members, you will have to add them as contacts seperately.

Camarokid and I have been tinkering around with the app over the last few days working out all the kinks.

Loaded the Waze app. Shows my location...Searched for the C5F Wed Camarovan group to add and was it not found. Any ideas???

My username is the same as Zello C5_Anubis

not sure. it doesnt offer me an "invite" ability either.

but it is VERY specific on upper and lower case letters

*edit* just tried searching on the PC by copying and pasting the group name....nada.

and apparently the only way to add friends is either by twitter or FB account.

I'm not messing with all that crap just to get this.

uninstalling now...

It doesn't require any social aps. Go to "my waze" when in the program, second down the list is "groups" click it, 4th tab over is search, type in "Camaro 5 South East" and hit enter.

And, it didn't find it!!! It should have..something must be wrong on their server because no searches are working right now... oh well

I couldnt find the group either.

Spike I Zello'd you a couple times yesterday and did eventually get your reply in history or some saved "voicemail" type place. And did hear you live one time.

I'll figure this out as we go or just watch the update thread

yeah, if you aren't "active" with the person that messages you, it goes to your history. I was a little tied up yesterday and couldnt reply right away.

as for the Waze thing...

I just did a search for "C5f" and found my group. so try it now everyone.
