please no sarcastic comments. i have looked up what it is exactly i need and ive found so many different answers and am confues.

i currently have the full arh system 1 7/8 with high-flow cats down to corsa mufflers and an intake from K&N.

what else do i HAVE to have in order to put a cam in?

i really like the night fury cam as well as comp cam.

get a cam kit. id suggest going through a shop or mabe a "guru" like Pat G from LS1tech.

Generally id suggest. springs/retainers/valve guides/pushrods. Id also put in a high volume or high pressure oil pump. it comes off anyway for the install so why not upgrade/replace it then. Same with the timing chain, some opt for the dual roller chains.

Depending on your location. There are a LOT of shops out there that specialize in LS engines. In VA I know of a couple.

Ive only used RPM in Delaware. They did my cam and tune on my 06 CTSV

But Broadview has a number of friends cars they have worked on. They are out in warrington VA.

Another is out in VA beach, a 1LE guy recently had a cam done there. I dhave to check on the name.

In richmond you have Frost tuning. He has LONG been seen as the LS tuning GURU.

And then in Philly is Complete Street Performance. Andrew has done a number of Maryland guys I know with no real complaints.

+1 for the shops listed. I used Frost and he corrected issues with another tuner that impacted my ability to pass smog. Worth the drive. I believe he is at EFI Performance. Heard good things about Broadview tuning and cam installs as well and I have used them for some services.

Going to add that Steve Williams (Frost) will give you an honest assessment of what you need for a cam install to reach your desired result and won't sell you parts you don't need.

I would suggest going to Broadview, they did my dyno tune and if I can't do my own cam install that is where I will be going as well
