How fast have you gone w/20" drag radials

Those of you that are still running 20" drag radials at the track, how fast have you gone ? ET wise?

The reason is,I have a brand new set of Nitto drag radials at the shop,275/40/20's. Not sure if I should run them with my stock wheels.(I have another set of wheels that I'm running now,so the Nitto's will probably only see the track).

Or sell them and buy 17" Drag radials w/new wheels.

I'm sure, with my current power level and with an Auto. I should have good traction with 20"'s. But wondering if some of you are running 20" in the 400-500HP range.

Just thinking out loud,my Igloo is starting to melt with this warm weather,so I might as well go out,and head out at the track and have fun.

It's better then nothing and some guys have gone 10s on them, but if you have a choice, go with 18s.

Based on your current mods, I say you'll be fine with the 20's, though smaller will not hurt.
I have a Maggie and run the 555R 20" 305 and run ~1.7 60 ft and 11.9 1/4. I have not had traction issues as long as I drop the pressure.

These are the 555R that I have on the shelf.
Worse case, run them until they are done or until I start loosing traction. Then upgrade if needed.

Since the big guy from CT played around with my tune, the first gear is useless on the street with my 315's. It may or may not hook up at the track.

Thanks for the replies everybody.
When someone gives you their time, they should also include which drag radial they were running.

You have different categories of drag radials (some stickier than others).

NT555Rs - street/strip tire - works as daily driver (less sticky)
NTO5R and MT ET2 street - track tires - dry street driving (more sticky)
Hoosiers drag radials - really a slick (not for street driving) (very sticky)

So a car running NT05Rs will have more potential grip than a car running NT555Rs.
