Camaro Maintence Schedule

Does anyone have a list of the factory recommended service for the Camaro 2 ss?

Any inputs on what oil one uses and when do you change it?

Any input appreciated...

Your SS is equipped with an oil life monitoring system and this will actually tell you when to change the oil. I am sure you aware of that. On my personal vehicles I tend to change the oil every 5k miles. The oil cap of the SS says Mobile 1 so I personally always stick with the oil that comes in it.

Well I work at jiffylube so there Isent a whole lotta maintenance to worry about. But the oil I recommend is Mobil one full synthetic every 3-5k miles, doesn't matter the weight. Transmission service every 15k miles. Same with coolant service. Rear diff every 30k miles. Fuel system cleaning every 50k miles. And that's about it.

The information you are looking for is in your owners manual "Service and Maintenance 10-1".
You can download the manual. Check this thread.
