Anybody with the BA sound system have any reviews of it?

Sounds very good.

If you are into the stereo thing

you will probably be disappointed though.

The best I ever had was a pioneer system

put in at Circuit City. The BA is more than

enough for me

Ok, i have been in several cars with it.
I hated the system , thought it was crap.
Until i realized in Mikes car that it was nice.
Well then i saw one at the dealer, i set it and all i can say is WOW, does sound great.
The system is great once you dial it in.
Every car that i have been in, had the base set up to high, so it sounded like the speakers were going to blow by bottoming out. Well if you put the base to 8, 9 or 10, and set the treble to around 7, the car has a really nice sound that very balanced. Getting the right treble and good clear bass.
Believe me, i didnt care too much about the BA system until the other day when i set it up, and now im very happy that my 2LT is coming with it

I have a Monsoon radio with my 2001 Grand Am GT1. How do they compare? I love the sound I get from the Monsoon.

I'm dying to hear it! I know that the 6.1 Pioneer setup that came in the 08 HHR SS sounds really clean. I'm hoping the BA set up in the 2SS sounds just as good.

This is one thing i asked if i could do in the showroom car...He said...Turn them as loud as it will go...

It SOUNDED AWESOME

Great Lows
Good Highs

The only thing that i noticed is that the Bass levels out near max volume levels...what i mean is the Bass is as strong at volume 5 as it is at volume 10....kinda sucks...but oh well.

They are great and will not be upgradin the sound system anytime soon.

I think it sounds great, but then again I usually listen to talk radio. I am happy with it.

I was impressed with the sound system in the SS that I test drove a couple of weeks ago. There was enough power for me and the sound quality was pretty crisp.

Not an autophile, but my 20 yr old son is and it passed his critical ear test. And if its good enough for him, it would probably be good enough for most of you.
NOTE: AUX, CD, FM, XF Have different "tone settings" so make sure before you get bent out of shape that if the one you're listening to doesn't sound right, set your tone controls for it!

Might want to check in the audio forum been a lot of discussion on it. Hence a whole forum

I think if your into audio then buy it cause otherwise your stuck with stock. Which is a nice unit from what people say. But it's all integrated so you can't chop it. No DIN holes.

yes because aftermarket upgrade is pretty much impossible on the head unit.

I am super happy with it and is well worth the upgrade. Just make sure you set uor EQ to your liking.

Not really impressed. I wouldn't have paid for it but it comes with the RS package. It will be one of the first things I upgrade along with a hard wired Valentine 1.

it does? maybe for the v6 but not for the v8. With the v8 you either get the 2ss or you add the 'Premium Sound System' package to the 1ss. RS has nothing to do with the Boston stereo.

The Boston Audio system is a standard part of the 2LT/2SS top level trims. The RS package has absoloutely nothing to do with the sound system on any Camaro and is a seperate option available with any LT or SS car.

Man you guys are picky. It's a friggin audio system in your car. Not Metallica at Continental Arena! I have the 7 speaker Pioneer system in my Cobalt SS/SC and it sounds phenomenal. The Boston Acoustic system is likely better. People are so lame buying Rockford Fosgate and Monsoon systems. Please. This is a car. Stick these systems in your blacked out Mercedes. Don't need my radio to be worth more than my car. Almost like that lamer in a POS Honda Civic that is dented to hell that has green headlights, $5000.00 chrome rims and a $4000.00 audio system. LOL!! Still wondering it the thing has a subwoofer pre amp output.

It's like pulling teeth to find that out. (It should have it since you can't upgrade the head so someone screwed up if it does not).
