What's the $100 in free service letter for??

While no one can tell us where my son's 2SS VIN 4486 is, Chevrolet thought it necessary to send him a letter granting him $100 worth of service.

How many folks are getting this offer and more importantly WHY?

Tom

I'm getting conflicting stories. Are the recalled cars being fixed at the plant and a campaign # assigned or are they being shipped for the dealer to fix?

My dealer has been waiting for my son's 2SS for over 2 weeks now and they have the parts waiting.

IDK that one...mine was fixed at the dealer and GM Customer Service called me to confirm the $100 letter.

Sounds like it may be in transit so you'll get the memo...IDK though.

Apparently mine is being fixed in Oshawa, like 5000 others. That's what DBC told my dealer yesterday.
