First time at the strip

Got the car back a couple weeks ago and finally got a chance to bring it to the track. Best run was 12.3 @ 114. Stock tires an the tune has a couple wrinkles to work out. So now I have this fast car and I can't get the tra k spray off the back of the car, any suggestions?

Goo gone works good. Gas in a spray bottle is the best. Or kerosene. I use goo gone and some muscle!!

WD-40 the fenders before you hit the track. The rubber and traction compound will wipe right off afterwards.

I put blue painters tape on the rear section of my car. Then before my trip home from the track, I just peel off the tape and no mess to clean up.

I use this stuff called "collision wrap" that you can buy at the body shop supply stores. It is a clear film with an adhesive back. Comes in different width rolls. Works just like the masking tape except it is clear and less work to cover an area with just one strip.

Next time use some stuff made by Geddex called BurnOut Guard, You spray it on and it dries then the rubber comes off easy.
