Just FYI

Thanks to Jerry, was at his house yesterday tearing apart my car again.
I can say that if you don't need to replace your differential bushing don't !!! they are a bitch to replace, the Differential comes out without to many issues but removing the factory bushings is no fun, when you drill out the rubber with a hole saw it jells it and gets all over everything, don't tell Jerry's wife where the black stuff on the kitchen floor came from lol !! I had to replace them as I installed the LPW diff cover and DSS axles thanks to FSP
I had to install a new bushing in the LPW cover and was concerned that if I used a urethane bushing in the rear cover and left the front stock ones it would load the rear bushing too much
I used Royal Purple 75/90 diff fluid and it was to noisy so I changed it to the GM and 4 oz of friction modifier and it quieted it down but I still here some gear noise if listening for it
I guess when the whole back is on solid or polyurethane that's how its going to be
But my car should be as solid as it can be for now.... Knock On Wood

Poly diff bushings will increase noise in the rear. And John not saying I told you so but what did I tell you to buy fluid-wise?!!? Make sure you are using DEXRON LS Gear Oil by the way, not just the GM synthetic. The LS gear oil has the additive in it so no need to add more to the modifier.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Just a few more days until the biggest street party in Southwest Florida and your Camaro club will be a big part of it.

Hooters of Fort Myers is throwing a "CHRISTMAS IN JULY" celebration to benefit The Salvation Army.

WHEN: SATURDAY, 27 JULY 2013 AT 5PM

WHERE: HOOTERS OF FORT MYERS, 4411 CLEVELAND AVE., FORT MYERS FL

Count on a great time and we can help the cause by having a strong turnout and conducting a 50/50 raffle. 50 percent of the proceeds going to The Salvation Army and the other half going to the lucky donor.

Please bring your pocket books and contribute to your hearts' content.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE FUN PLANNED FOR THE EVENING:

Attachment 534208

The Fort Myers Hooter's General Manager has estimated 80 plus cars in the show area that night.

We will have reserved parking but slots will go fast so you are strongly encouraged to be there NO LATER THAN 5PM. If you arrive later than that, you may not be able to park within walking distance of the party

As can be expected this time of year, there may be a shower or two that afternoon...don't let that keep you home. Last year we had a little rain just as we were parking, but the night was well worth the extra effort to clean the cars later.

Hi Adrian, We went to a similar event last year at Hooters as the club's first meet in Southwest Florida. Everyone had a blast!!!
If you get a chance, come on over and bring the other guys from the "Other Coast" and the rowdy group from the Tampa Chapter. Fun is guaranteed.

See information in post above.

I will be meeting with the GM of Hooters this week end to see exactly where they will be parking our club , Last year they had generator lighting for us in the parking lot, Guaranteed we will have premiere parking
It may be helpful to bring folding chairs

Good point on the folding chairs. Last year people kept sitting in mine...this year I'm going to charge a hefty rent...proceeds, of course, to be donated to the Salvation Army
