The dash in front of the passenger seat

It's a little...blank. Anyone have any plans to liven that up a bit? I had kind of thought of putting "Camaro SS" across the dash in the camaro's lettering, but I'm not sure where I would get that.

Where does the Airbag come out? I'm afraid that a emblem attached would turn into a deadly projectile!

that's a good point. Having owned a bimmer, I know about these letters from here http://www.bimmian.com/LTR/46...but I'm really hoping to find the actual chevrolet lettering. I may have to go retro, as I have found the emblems for the old Camaros.

I won't touch the plastic area as that is where the airbag deploys (if you press on it a bit it flexes, while the rest of the dash does not) but I do plan on getting some aftermarket trim for the strip that goes from door panel to door panel across the dash. I'm hoping for brushed aluminum, carbon fiber, or exterior color matching beyond the few choices GM offers.

I agree on this... someone photoshopped a pic and put the CAMARO lettering (from the side of the car) on the dash, and it looked incredible! But I dunno how good of an idea that would be... :(

I actually like the way it looks...directs the attention to the drivers side of the car as well as the retro gauges in front of the shifter!

I always thought the "Camaro" script from the side of the car would look good embossed into the plastic, like it is on the Corvette.

i want to go all retro. replace the ss badges with the ones from a 69, and take off the new camaro lettering off the side and replace it with the 69 version. I have always loved that old cursive hand writing style. then put the old 69 camaro emblem on the dash. but thats just me

The first time I sat in the car the gap looked AWFUL.

The second time..not so bad. I think it's just something you'll get used to.

It migth be able to be fixed with custom cover like from Dash King. They sell vette ones with logos. Just has a flap where the bag pops out.

My '86 had the "Z-28" on the passenger side of the dash. I would definitely like to see something that could be added or embossed for the '10. Maybe even have something like the red, white, and blue emblem that used to be on the hoods? Just throwing ideas out there.

What are the measurements of the area (height mostly)? Would be easy enough to get classic chevy or camaro logo and adhere it to the surface, assuming it fits in an aesthetically pleasing way. I've been kicking this idea around in my head for a little while now anyway.

The 95-99 Monte Carlos had lettering on the pass. side plastic panel under the air bag. So you could probably do something similar with the Camaro silver accent piece on the on the pass side.

I am going to see what dragonZ28 cna make here,http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20369, since GM didn't do it I may have him make me a badge that shows the R6P early order activity. Check the thread, he may already have something for it.

He is also GM licensed
