Paint looks better though!
Man...the new look is AWESOME.

I honestly think I'm going to miss the blue, but hey...a change is nice every once in a while. If I ever want to put them back, I can. Stickers are EASY. Peel it off and you are back. Put it back on if you want. Paint? You have to use the old hair dryer...fishing line...a trim tool... then comes the fun part of getting all that 3M sticky tape off of there.

But, it turned out nice. I like it!

Sways are Pedders 27mm bars, correct?

Looks like we'll be adding lower inner rear control arm bushes, FE4/5 arms, bars and links with the Xa coilovers. I'll bring rear camber bolts as well. We will align to our new FE4/5 specs. The car will blow you away. You don't mind if you wear out your tires in 4 or 5 thousand miles, do you

New tires? Shoot...that would kick me in gear to get WIDER TIRES!

Awesome! Can't wait to get this all set up....wow is it going to be SWEET.

Sways are 27mm front and 32mm rear (according to the receipt).

Your new bar is going to be a 32 as well, but mounted near the hub. Prepare for an aggressive sway bar setup... very aggressive.

My front end link tops got stripped a while back when we over tightened them. They began to pop. I changed them out to stock while waiting on the replacements to get here. I got the replacements, but ended up getting two left hand threaded tops. It's possible I misunderstood when ordering the two new endlink ends and said I needed to lefties. But... I'm in a spot right now where I still have one stripped endlink (bolt threads). So, I need it changed out as well to put stock front end links back in.

Oh, I'm ready...

This is what I've been waiting on. Once this FE4/5 set up is on, I'm going back out to Harris Hills for a comparison. Hrm....once this is done, all I'll really have left to do is power adders. I think I need

Bottle bonking, that's considered bad form in the Great White North too, or a complete waist of beer at the very least.

Ouch...$$ . ....hrm...head and cam swap. Change out a few other parts. All motor...less parts to break...

...oooor maybe just a good old reliable maggy.

meh, still have a lot of time to decide on that one.

yeah, i've finally talked myself out of camming the car.
knowing myself, it'll just be a waste of money - i already conceded to having a forged stroker build as a 'contingency plan' in case i ever blew the LS1 and already set up my current bolt-ons keeping that in mind

of course, i surprised myself with how fast i got used to the Maggie & now it's fast, but not much of a rush anymore :( i know if i add a cam now & push 550hp, it'll be fun for a little bit but i'll be accustomed to it easily (and i hear 550 is pretty easy to streetably drive anyway) and on top of that, it'll be pushing the limits of the stock bottom end. i could just forge it, but why not just up it while the motor's already out?

that's why i'm just gonna leave my engine as-is, keep saving, and build a boost-ready stroker on the side. i reckon 700-some-odd will be plenty for a long time that & i'll just do it once & be done.
