Just for kicks, I dialed it down to 6 rear 7 front and quite honestly, it minimizes all the bumps in the road. Kind of reminds me of a stock ride (bumps and what not). Then, I took out one of the guys last night and dialed it back up to 26 front, 19 rear. "Yeah, it handles a wee bit better," was pretty much the response I got back. I can't even explain how cool it is to quickly change your ride with a few clicks and 15 seconds.

So, you want me on a 18 front, 27 rear? See what I think?
First of all who told you you could change the settings It may be your car, but those are MY parts

So, why haven't you already set them to 18 front, 27 rear? Be careful, you THR Camaro will be looser. Faster, but looser.

That plus losing about 6 lbs of weight per rotor compared to the stock ones makes the suspension work easier, better and the car feels lighter when accelerating. Now that you have your track monster you're going to need the braking improvements!

Too many people think 1/4 mile is the be-all end-all of performance but there's nothing like a road course with a car that's setup for it. Welcome to the addiction hehe.
Doc! What's up, man!

You know...I remember when you added those rotors a while back and how you were talking about how much lighter they were. If it becomes feasible, I am going to give it some thought. But, the next upgrade I really, really want to do?....finally either put on a power adder or build the engine...heads and cam (reliable power with no heat soak). However, if a deal too good to pass up comes along in the meantime, who knows... track car is ALL I want this to be. No...1/4 mile just doesn't do it for me anymore. Sure, I love to go fast....but I love to go fast while hugging the edge of a track...kicking up a quick run of dust in the air from a tire drifting over the edge of the track. See....I like 12 seconds. but, 20 min is SO much more fun!...especially when you are lapping people!

This has been a HELL of a good time. Being able to change the settings on the ride? .... freaking priceless. I have played with it, but haven't had time to really ... "play" with the car. It's been work and back work and back... So, I'll change it up here and drive to work and back...see how it feels. Then, I'll change it again for the next day. But, I haven't gone harder in the back and softer up front yet. It's always been harder up front and softer in the back. I'll do it tomorrow for sure. I need to get it out of the garage and get all the dirt and dust off of it from the recent rain.

Pete, as compared to the 1.5" lowering springs I had in the rear before, is it now lower than before? Not sure...looks almost the same, but maybe a tad bit lower. But, I got under the car changing the settings and DANG are those exhaust pipes close to the ground! Now I know what you meant by scraping! (no....no scraping anything yet. )

If you haven't checked out my build thread in awhile, check it out:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45165

There's bound to be some info (with pics and dyno charts) that you might find interesting; especially since you're going for a road course build.

Your rear is about 8mm lower than it was if I remember correctly.

On a lowered 5th Gen, headers, cats, exhaust and fascias are all self clearancing
