Sound familiar? (creatively edited, of course)

Ok. You will get the ban hammer next.

It has been scheduled.

Thanks! I try to keep them up. No scratches....all in very good condition. I just need a repaint of the outer blue ring. The red is starting to show through in parts.

But if those 1LE wheels come through.....

Can't wait to see them on the car!
There should be several pix in there. The ones of just them on the ground, they are black with flat black. I had them painted CGM above the lower portion.

In other news....

Rear valance #3 will show up today at the house today. Need to get that installed over the weekend.

On top of that....

Think I'm going to order the 1LE 3.91 gears. I'm subscribed to the other thread about them and all the guys that have installed them so far are floored by how much of a difference simple gears can make.

I sent off a message to the dealer asking them about warranty. If I change out the gears, will the entire rear end warranty go ka-put or will it just be the new 1 year parts warranty on the new gears in the pumpkin. That's what I need to figure out. I want to order them, but don't want the hassle of no powertrain warranty. I don't see how it could affect the engine, driveshaft, trans, etc by replacing rear gears.

oh yeah, by effectively reducing the mechanical load on the driveline, you'll be more inclined to keep your foot in it due to the new-found ease of acceleration, and therefore will start stressing your parts even more because they'll see more sustained "fun time"

i reckon that means no more warranty :(

or at least that's how i could see a worst-case rebuttal coming out...

Get a ZL1 diff, half shafts and hubs about $4,700 retail from GM. All GM parts ergo warranty unchanged. Maybe a slight dent to the wallet.

If Doug's spending $4k+, I know exactly what he'll be buying...

...and it whines a lot....
