We did our own stripes at our shop, if we would do the stripes for a customer they would be about $1600. That's only the stripes you see on our car. It would be more to go over the roof. Hope this helps you decide.

WOW That looks incredibly awesome. I knew from the start that I would get painted black stripes on my future Camaro but this has given me a more in-depth look in what it would closely if not exactly resemble. Im still getting my IOM but the stripes.....ahhh...so awesome. Awesome job guys! Enjoy much and thanks for all the updates and sharing!

VERY NICE!!! $1600 is not bad! I was worried about breaking into the factory paint to have stripes painted on mine, but these look so nice I might just have to do it, I may go over the top with them too...

Very nice job!! Looks amazing!!

That is how the factory stripes should look.

Far better than the vinyls and will look better for the life of the car!

If they get permission from Hasbro, it won't be. The only cool thing it'll have is the badging....and that isn't even bumblebee accurate.

We had a decal put in the gills on our car, ones that fade. And I do have a bee-otch air freshner but forgot about the disco ball.

Project Udate and PICS!!!

Okay folks, here's an update on the custom paint job. But first, many thanks to Musclebee for sharing his own custom paint job, it looks superb. His job and mine will have some subtle differences which will give everyone some great references for deciding how they want their stripes to look. Please note that the spoiler is not yet attached and was just carefully placed on the deck lid for my (...and your) viewing pleasure.

My project is nearly finished and should be complete by Friday, with final pics forthcoming. But in the mean time, here are some shots during the process and prior to final touch-ups and clearcoat. Big props for David, Robert, and the rest of the talented and friendly staff at Jones Collision Center. The work thus far has been nothing short of exemplary. Thanks guys.

Enjoy:

Thank god if we're in dire need of help we don't have to wait for Bumblebee to fly/drive/run from the other side of the country!

Guys, the projects are lookin great! Doing my own Bumblebee Camaro is becoming more appealing every day!

Musclebee, thanks for those pics of your door panel. I had been considering painting the trim panel in Sunrise Yellow to match the exterior, but I like the factory trim with only a splash of yellow. I think (if I go with a Bumblebee) that I'll keep the interior as factory as possible, but change out the leather for something with yellow stitching. Maybe black leather with gray suede inserts and yellow stitching...

I like the door panels ALOT but plan to get the yellow interior trim kit. I wouldn't advertise L99 lol, maybe LS3, but to each his own I'm not dogging you i love the originality.

It is an L99 because it is an automatic, and the Camaro SS on the door is a decal.
