I am wanting to get a high wing spoiler and found out a body shop will have to fill in the holes and repaint the trunk lid

I was wondering how much would you guys estimate it would cost. I am thinking it will be a lot since I have SGM

I also could try to trade an LS with CGM stripes

I was quoted $2000 to paint my stripes on (matte black), paint my GFX (matte black), fill the holes and repaint the high wing (matte black).

You should be looking around $600 for the fill and paint on the decklid.

I paid 150 to have my holes filled and trunk lid repainted and installed the wing myself.

That's a good deal. I don't think I will be able to get that kind of deal. I am going to go looking for estimates in a week or two

I am looking to do the same thing but with out the stripes. I worked at a body shop for 4 years and I'm still friends with the owner and he told me that SGM is hard to match the color. The paint rep told him it is not even blendable with his paint. So if you get it done and it matches good please ask what paint manufacturer (PPG, Spies Hecker, etc.) they used. Thats is the only thing that is keeping me from doing this mod.

i did not have a GM spoiler... so i payed 80 just to get it installed by a local mechanic in pittsburgh

ill take you to my shop bro, they do amazing work and since im a returning customer they give me great deals on painting and bodywork

See if they will work a "group rate" on a bunch of cars that are all different colors.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but if the price is right and they can do a good looking matte black I might be willing to let them do all my work. I am wanting to get my stripes and GFX painted as well as have the high wing installed and painted.
