Surge at idle in gear???
I'm having a hard time trying to get my car to idle with out a surge in my auto car. Its not just cam lope but it will start to surge up and down when rolling at around 2 MPH or when backing out of a parking spot. Any ideas of things I can try to fix this. It actually seems to get worse just turning on the AC.

that's a pretty beefy cam.
are you using HPtuners? e-mail me your tune file.. PM for my e-mail address. Probably some of the spark tables at lower RPM's need to be flattened some.. datalog some? |

Was it the air/fuel cut off for deceleration? Im having the same issue, but its at any speed in neutral.

My tuner did not like it , had to Put the stock one back on.

It was in the timing at idle. It was taking out alot and putting in alot at idle. It went from negative timing to 40* all at idle. For a more precise answer call Mike Norris Motorsports and I'm sure he will remember my car

Thats what I thought also but Im not worried about that now since the maggie max stage II w/102 tb setup is on my to do list now.

So your problem has been solved ? Off your topic but could you tell me if you ran 1/4 mile what gear and rpm's you have at the traps w/3.70 gears ?

Yes all is good now. 4th gear around 6400 stock diameter tires. Never data logged it to be sure but that is pretty close.
