The attention is crazy..

People giving thumbs up all over the place. Children stopping dead in there tracks staring with jaws dropped. People taking pictures when I come out of a store. Several said they turned the car around and entered the parking lot just get a closer look.

The best thing was driving through the country and we came up on a Sonic, there was a car show going on. I wanted to stop and look at the cars, so we drove into the parking lot. The guy that was running the show insisted that I park and enter... We got there so late that the votes were mostly turned in. It was cool to stand there and have all the questions and compliments. The number one comment was "this is the first one I have seen in person"

Pretty cool couple of days.

That's awesome man! That right there is why people pre-order the first year model. That's a fun feeling.

Sounds like fun, I know that feeling. After 2 and 1/2 years with my SKY Redline, I still get that.

But who are you kidding, "I wanted to stop and look at the cars, so we drove into the parking lot." Come on Bud we know better, you probably saw not one other car.....

Seriously I pulled into the lot next to Sonic and I didn't expect them to be that friendly they were all part of the same car club, it was cool to be invited in....

It gets a little tiring, but it's nice. I don't like it when people start trying to track me down, and they drive all the streets until they finally find my street and my car. Also, the girls love the car, so not so bad.

I agree its a little strange to have so many people taking pics of ya on the highway or in the "wally world"parking lot. On my space pics of the car got more hits in 3 days then a year of my kids and family pics!

same here. thumbsup, , rubber necking drivers, pointing kids. go into the store to get a drink come out, and there are ppl looking in the windows and taking pictures. its pretty enjoy it while you still can, cause in a year they won't be as special...still will be awesome and cool, but it won't be "the first one i've seen" comments

When I first saw a Camaro in my area a few months back, I gave them a thumbs up and stuff, and they looked at me like, "What the heck is he doing?" I kind of felt stupid. Glad to see your loving the attention!

This actually happened! I was getting out of my car and this oilfield worker parked in front of me with 2 inch pipes hang out above his tailgate, was walking around the rear of his truck to the driver side. He was checking out the car and ran smack into the pipes, He hit so hard he went to the ground and his sun glasses went flying off! I ran over to see if he was ok, he had a gash on his head, but jumped up and gave me the thumbs up! Poor guy!

Gas Station in the worst, alot of people coming to see my car. I think it's awesome. Some people get upset with the attention. They can go fly a kite, kinda like ball players and celeb's, they want the fame so bad and when they get it they don't like it. Me myself I am glad the car gets so much attention.

I get all that, too. On the interstate pulling it home w/my SUV was insane! I noticed a few people taking cell phone pics, many sped up / slowed down to get a closer look. The honks, blows from 18 wheelers, thumbs up and smiles were coming from everywhere! In fact, I have to be extra careful switching lanes bc there's almost always someone beside me or in a blind spot, trying to check it out. At red lights people roll down windows to talk to me, etc. Oh and the kids... in my neighborhood on bikes, in parking lots asking if that's the "transformers car". At car meets / shows my Camaro gets most of the attention, even at a corvette gathering once. It's phenomenal!

This has been happening to us too! It's an amazing feeling! I was going West to the tag agency and an idiot that stole a car went flying by me going East at 80mph followed by about 20 police cars in groups. I was pulled over and one of the police cars, paused just a second while turning North on a side street and the cop gave me a big smile and a thumbs up!

It's wonderful!
