Damn, I hope not. With already exaggerated body lines you do not need them, they would only look good to separate a two tone paint job........in my opinion.

I disagree. I'd love to see a new Camaro with pinstripes. As a matter of fact, I got an idea for some just recently. The local Pontiac dealer pinstripes all their G8's, and they have a white one with very light off-white/gray pinstripes. It actually looks pretty classy (unlike many of their other pinstripe jobs.) I'm thinking that might look good on a white Camaro.

I agree with you that the Camaro has pretty exaggerated body lines, but this isn't a subtle car to start with, so why worry about the added emphasis.

I'm thinking about them. I have my car taped off for the hood and hockey's (you can see them in the journal thread) and I'm contemplating doing 1/16th blue pin's. Still undecided...

I too was thinking about some sort of stripes to accent the front and rear quarter "arches", as in fixxer's sig PS here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=58 Maybe that's too much and pinstripes would look better...hmmm.

yep, kinda like --- Camaro...wow, that's a blast from the past!

I love pin striping,, as long as it's done in a limited, tasteful fashion.

I agree with ya TAG. I have been thinking about how to incorporate the jet stream blue color somewhere on my CGM 2 SS. I was wondering how the area in the back between the tail lights would look in JS Blue instead of black. The easy one is getting the brake calipers painted.

I am anxious to see what you have done with yours!

pin stripes are too tacky and retro, they dont belong on this car.

Driving past a dealer last night, dealer had a black 2LT with low gloss white pinstripes. First I've ever seen of this on any '010 Camaro. I am surprised after seeing them on the car (very well done - painted on) I have to agree with alot of the posts that they do in fact compete and take away from the body lines on this car. I thought they'd be sharp, as I've put them on alot of cars we have had, but this car does have much more defined body lines and the pinstripes look out of place.

Thanks Dinky Toy for advising hjow to post pics.
