Does a trifecta tune void warranty? And how does it work?

?

Technically yes because your modding the chip which controls the engine but it will only void your warranty if something happens to your car and you take it to the dealer to be fixed and they say the problem is a direct result of the tune.

The mail you a tune (and cord if needed), you can either plug it up to the computer or use the little handheld device upload the tune. I believe i read somewhere that you can copy your stock tune so you can return to it in case you need to take it back to the dealer.

technically yes it does void the warranty. However it has been proven several times that our tune is not detectable using gm's current scanners. If GM wants to see the ECM themselves, all bets are off.

Basically we would email you the performance tune and the stock tune for your vehicle and physically mail you a cable to upload the tune to the vehicle.

Thanks for the feedback. So if you mail me the stock tune as well could I upload the stock tune over the performance tune if I had to get work done at the dealer and is it traceable that I had a tune?

That's correct, you can return back to stock at any time as long as you buy the cable so you can connect your car to your laptop. If you choose to rent the cable, you'd have to re-rent it and hope we had a loaner to send you. They're almost always loaned out.
