I will be there around 10am driving a silver 71 and my wife in the silver 2011 convertible. Hangout for about 30 min and then head to Grill 57.

The Cars and Coffee in Raleigh has a facebook group that can help with info, C & C Raleigh. Hopefully this link will work. https://www.facebook.com/groups/258619767576809/

Bummed to be missing both the Raleigh Cars and Coffee and Grill57 this Saturday. We will be with the 5th Gen's in Charlotte then off to S.L. Customs to see the awesome work they have been doing on the 69.

Would love to see pictures of the SL Customs 69. Looking forward to meeting them at the Meet and Greet.

Anything a little more specific then this? That looks like a big shopping center from the map and for those of us newbs an actual meeting point would be nice. What's the name of the place this normally happens at?
Also... times??

Awesome!! Welcome to the area! There's usually a hangout on Thursday nights at the Quick Trip on highway 150 (almost across from Randy Marion, not the one further west). Too many mustangs, we need more camaros there besides ourselves!

Yay for cars and coffee Charlotte tomorrow...gonna be a chilly one though!

All I really have at this point are before/tear down and metal prep pics, we are just starting on the mechanicals and body work. I don't want to clutter this thread with pictures, but they can be found at:
www.Facebook.com/S.L.CustomsLLC

A lot of stuff going on in the car world this weekend for January!

It's the big parking lot right on the corner of New Waverly Place and Colonnades Way. There's a Chick-Fil-A right in front.

That's a little more specific, thank you (the one near the cupcake place... )

Times? I thought I saw someone say 10 - so guessing it's not early?

Well the C&C I attended in October started at 8am. I got there at 8:30 and there were already plenty of cars. I can't seem to find a confirmed time for this weekend. My guess would be 8am. I'll keep looking.

Edit: Found it!!

https://www.facebook.com/CarsAndCoffeeRaleigh/info

On the first Saturday of every month a large group of car lovers meet up at Waverly Place in Cary, NC (just outside of Raleigh). It's an awesome environment and is in a great location. Cars generally meet at 259 New Waverly Place starting at around 8:00-8:30 and leave at around 11:30. I recommend that everyone that can make it come down.....enjoy breakfast at the nearby Chik-fil-a and then walk around and see some amazing cars. Everyone is very respectful so don't be afraid to ask questions.........................and most importantly WATCH OUT FOR THE POLICE.

Plan on bringing a lawn chair as well if you plan on hanging out for a bit.

At least a few Camaros will be leaving about 10:30 to head over to Grill57 which is only a few miles away. Fall in line if you want to! C&C starts early and the Grill is 11-6. You will get some exotics at C&C then more muscle and rods at the Grill.

I'll have to remember to put it back in my car. I took it out when I moved in b/c it was one of my few pieces of "furniture"

I'll keep that in mind in case I can't get there early enough for C&C

They are great guys and look forward to them being at the Meet and Greet. I think their facebook link was posted. The pictures of my 69 are not the prettiest ones but they have already made huge progress and have only had the car for 3 weeks. I can't wait to see the 73 they are working on, it's getting a LS3.

Thanks for the kind words! Looking forward to seeing you guys and the rest of the club tomorrow. Jesse has your car up on the lift so you can get a good look at the underside of your car as well. (nicest floors and trunk I've ever seen on a first gen without prior repairs.)

Thanks! I just joined the group. Ha Ha, do you modify them so they match, the current debate at my house.

Too many years of sitting around will do that. Thanks for putting it on the lift for us! Can't wait to see everyone.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast....

I'm surprised so many people come to C&C even when it's freeeeezing! Lots of nice Camaros there.

I got to C&C at 8am and it was 31 degrees. LOL. My toes about froze off. There were only 2 of us 5th GENs though

The Grill '57 Meet was awesome though!! Tons of 5th Gens and everything else you can think of. I didn't realize that was such a great gathering.

I'm going to try and make it up to the next C&C in Feb. I'll have a nice hour drive up to relax and enjoy the ride. Just hope the weather is nice. I can deal with the cold as long as it is sunny out and no major wind.

I was at C&C with my 1st gen.

Yep, Grill was good. Still a little light on turnout though. We've had bigger New Year's crowds. I think having to change the day threw some people off.
