Any word on an A/M dual mode exhaust?

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about an aftermarket dual mode exhaust. Kinda thought BB might make some since they make the Fusion for the Vette.

Billy Boat does have one. Had their prototype at the Fest, but unfortunately it wasn't on a car. Said they would have videos posted on YouTube this week.

The guys working the booth said it sounded similar to the Vette dual mode exhaust, but due to engine configuration and firing order it did sound a bit different.

Firing order?... They're the same, but I think I understand what they were trying to say.

I kinda' wonder if it will be worth it for more than a little more sound. The 'Vette-guys have been cutting their NPP (I think it was...) mufflers open, either replacing the perforated pipe with a straight pipe or just throw a couple muffler clamps around the perforated pipe itself, and weld it back up. I have been wondering if there is much benefit to going a little larger pipe to the muffler, and getting a good X-pipe in the intermediate pipe, but I doubt it's going to do much for the power I'm going to be looking for. I am interested in seeing what Borla and B&B come up with, though

For the BB, they told me that running with the flap open, it was basically running straight pipes. With the flap closed, it was a sound about halfway between the stock closed and open sound. And no drone when closed.

I am interested in hearing it. I volunteered my ZL1 as a test car at the fest, but they didn't take me up on it!
