*Group Buy* Choose From 3 Carbon Fiber Hoods - Deposit Not Required

GROUP BUY IS OVER. PM IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS or WOULD LIKE MORE INFO ON THE HOODS. THANK YOU ALL WHO PARTICIPATED.

***No Deposit Required***

Earlier this year, about 10 members participated in and purchased hoods through a group buy with UltimateMotorX and we were all 100% satisified with the quality, shipping, and customer service.

Due to numerous member inquiries after our last group buy, the vendor has agreed to do another group buy. The prices they are offering now are even better than before, so I decided to help out forum members and get this group buy going. We need 10 people, and can choose any of the three hoods below: Viper, AMS, Terminator - the pictures go in the same order.

Viper / AMS Price: $720
Terminator Price: $695

Shipping for All:

Local Pickup in Los Angeles - FREE
Southern California (Certain Zip Codes) - $50
Northern California - $125
Continental 48 States - $150
Hawaii - $300
Alasaka - $400
Canada - $285

Shipping may be combined for $50 more if hood is coupled with the Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid group buy.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242184

***ALL HOODS WILL BE DELIVERED WITH A FREE SET OF CARBON FIBER HOOD PINS, A $30 VALUE***

Note: Both AMS and Terminator hoods come with rain guards for the vents.

List Starts Below:

1) TMAJ - Terminator
2) a7md.al3madi - AMS
3) Skellz - Terminator
4)
5)
6)
7)
8)
9)

I don't have an exact figure, but the OEM hoods are fairly light, and these are even lighter.

Idk about you guys, but the stock hood is very light. My 105lbs girlfriend was able to lift it all by herself.

It's definitely taller but I do not have an exact measurement. From seeing the AMS in person, it's basically midway between an OEM and Cowl hood.

Excellent question. I spoke with the vendor and combined shipping would be $200 out of state, $175 No Cal, $100 So Cal. I updated both threads.

Pics of undersides below in same order (Viper, AMS, Terminator). The rainguards are on in all pictures.

Sounds good. I'm certain this is the best deal on these hoods by far... it'll be awesome if you can swing it; let me know. And yes, the rainguards are included.

i'am caught between the viper and ams the one with the 6 large vents. Can u post a pics of the viper hood so i could see how the air would flow.

The group buy 10 peeps are needed if more sign uo will the hoods be cheaper?

Concerning deposits 200 bucks do we make the payment once we sign up or when we have 10 already lined up and then the deposit is collected.

In other words is are deposit going to be locked up untill we reach 10 and then the order starts?

I do not have any more pics of the Viper hood than what's posted, but I know some people on the forum have that hood, so you may be able to find them through the search. With respect to the $200 deposit, the deposit gets you the spot, and your latter point is accurate. The deposit is held until we get to 10 people, and after that, everyone will be provided an invoice to pay the remainder and all of the shippments will go out immediately. They delivered within 5 business days last time to as far as the east coast (from So Cal). Most people locally got them within 2 business days.

There are a few main reasons for the deposit. During the last group buy, people confirmed they were in and when it came time to pay, some didn't respond and some said they were out. This caused the people who were serious about the purchase to need to wait longer until I was able to sort things out or open up more spots. Hence, it helps to protect the serious buyers and ensure a smooth group buy process (not to mention for the vendor to purchase/make sure they have the proper inventory when it comes time to ship all of these).

And lastly, if we do go up to 10 quickly, I can check with the vendor to see if the price would be cheaper on 15, but I'm not sure if I would count on that. I wouldn't want to prolong the group buy too much.
