VMax CNC 2012 LFX Throttle Body - Some Base Info

Hey All,

I have had a few PM's and e-mails regarding the VMax 2012 LFX TB in the sales area and it usually goes like this:

"Are these the same as the RX TB or a different version from VMax?"

They are the same and since RX gets a lot of traffic here it can get confusing as a lot of people call it the "RX Throttle Body". All CNC TB's from VMax are the same whether they are from myself, RX, Jannetty, JDP, Southwest and so on.

Hope this helps clear things up and will save some questions in the future.

Thanks and have a great day.

Yes.....Pete Incaudo of VMax is the genius behind all of these designs....they are the VMax CNC ported TB's no matter which dealer you purchase them through.

Also, to remind those that dont know Mike, Myself, and Greg Lovell have been the ones working through the development of these from day 1 with VMax back with the LS1 so Mike has been involved from the beginning.

The Camaro has smoother shifting and acceleration in the lower gears. I drove the car on the Seaford to Dandy test track (nice rural two lane with plenty of twists and turns) which runs 3.22 miles with a 55 MPH speed limit. Very smooth from stop to 70 (then back to 60 ) in Drive mode. The return trip in Sport using the paddles (shifting at 5000 RPM) was also very smooth. Hesitation is gone!

Tomorrow, my 164 mile (mostly interstate) commute to/from Richmond and more opportunities to test the latest mod.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The core is boxed and ready to mail tomorrow.

Thanks for your input Sentry

BTW, love your car color and stripes combo...looks great...although, I may be biased towards the color...since mine's the same, lol
