Video: Acheiving a swirl free finish with Meguiar's M105 Ultra Cut Compound

This video piggy backs on this thread: http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/...-compound.html

I felt that a video might better demonstrate the technique.

As always credit must go to where it is do. Thank you to Kevin Brown for always expanding my knowledge of machine correction. Many of the concepts that come into play with this technique come from many late night, long conversations with Mr. Brown, before I coined the term, the Kevin Brown Method. (Of which many of the techniques in this video and the linked thread are, in fact, the KBM).

Todd, as always thanks for sharing. It's good to see others techniques to see if they can worked into your own or used to correct a specific issue or problems.

I say we start a petition to get Todd to read the following and post it:

"I live my life a panel at a time. Nothing else matters: not the glass, not the trim, not the forums and all their bullsh!t. For those polishing sessions, I'm free."

A little info for forum members here that don't know much about Todd. You can take whatever he tell you to the bank. Even before joining the gang at Autopia Car Care , he was great detailer always willing to share his knowledge with others.

I will PM you Todd with the address for my check. LOL J/K Todd. Good to see you spreading the word.

I learned a lot from this video. I plan on cleaning up my Accord with M105/M205 and this technique will really help. Thanks!

Easy now, I am close to 360 horsepower at the front wheels at only 3200 lbs wet it will move out. Unfortunately it is wrong wheel drive and at anything less then 40 it doesn't hook up.... :(

I've never seen 105 worked that way. I'm used to seeing the cloudy finish when done then following with 205. Have to give this a shot. Thanks for the video.

Give it a shot. You have to keep the work time SHORT when doing the final step for the best results!
