no it will be the same problem... the roller skate issue with these are the rim diameter not width... these are kind of stepped lips

I believe it's how deep the center of the wheels go.

The picture above is super deep concave and looks super sick!!!!

I'm lowered with 1 in front and 1.5 rear running 265/35/20 front and 315/35/20 rear 20x10.5 all around and have no issues. I will be going 275/40/20 or 285/35/20 fronts soon which should be okay still.

I will try and get a better picture later this week. I will be going with a bigger profile to fill some of the front gap

You can run Super Deep Concave 20x10.5 on all corners with no problem. Can run 315/35-20 rears and 275/40-20 fronts and will look beast. If you want to go all out, we can run 315/35-20 rears and 295/35-20 up front-- and this will be a real kick ass look.

Running 20x10.5 all corners + 315/35-20, 275/40-20... Car is dropped.

I don't think a pound or two will make the car feel sluggish. Hey, if it does by some chance, SUPERCHARGER!

Can you tell me the details on your tire/wheel package? I love that look.
I would like to know wheel size, width, and offset, and tires you are running.

Also, if you dont mind, what did you use to lower the car?

Thanks!

Im running 20x10.5 +35 all around.. Tires are 285/40/20 Nitto NT420s... currently dropped on PFADT springs until I finally pull the trigger on coilovers

With a 285 I think you would be able to pull off +30 offsets to look even more aggressive... if you do i think you should stick with 285s MAYBE 295s max

20x10.5 with a 35 offset or 40 offset for the rears what is the difference. Will one tuck in more then the other?

Plan on running 275/40r20 in the front and 315/35r20 in the rear

looking at 10/10.5 or 10.5 all around

You will be perfectly fine with those tire sizes. However, you will need to either cut the roller blades off your front brake pads (that's if your car is an ss) or get aftermarket brake pads (I ended up going this route and purchased hawk ceramic pads).

+40 will tuck more

IIRC, the 10.5's were only available in +30 and +35

The 10's were available in +40... Those will tuck 17mm more than the +35, but will still be 12mm closer to the fender than the stock 20s
