Panther edition

Has anyone seen this guy in person? The local Reno dealer has one, but I don't want to go near their place to gawk at it.

Yup. Another limited edition Camaro by SLP. I like it. Nice nod to the original Black Panther.

Why don't you want to gawk at it? That's probably the main reason most people go there to look at it since it's overpriced. Just go in a POS car and they won't take you seriously and they'll leave you alone.

Never really liked those 2 features from SLP.

Not into this overpriced SLP car. It's ridiculous how much they are charging for it. I definitely think it's worth a drive to go see it though. I'm sure it's fun to drive and look at.

I've never been treated nice when I've been to that dealer, even just to browse. You can see they have a big supply of 18 new Camaro on the lot and they're all marked up. I was wondering if it is worth braving the sales people to see it in person. Maybe I should go with my muscle car appreciating relatives while they're in town... Strength in numbers!

They had this Summit White at a Cty-wide dealer's show back in January and still haven't managed to sell it. Not a good sign on their part.

That's insane. I picked up a 600hp Panther for 66.2k out the door yesterday. I bet the window sticker is 68k on that car. I see they want 72k for a ZL1 as well.

They want $50K for a 2SS coupe, that's insane. How is this dealer still in business? Are they only Chevy dealer Nevada?

The Panther edition is just a replacement for the 2011 SLP ZL1. Since GM is using the ZL1 plate now. IIRC the SLP ZL1 was super overpriced at like $100k.

I put on a Meet & Greet Camaro Rally and Car Show yesterday and had the SLP Panther on hand for people to check out. Nice car with beautiful touches like the black chrome wheels and the carbon fiber stripes are killer and I have to have but the $90+ is not in my price range or budget. I'd be just as happy getting something on a lower level and upgrading. Just don't see it in most of these specialty cars, I don't care who's label is on it. Just saying.......

The dealer I bought my Camaro at is only 30 minutes away. I honestly don't know how they are still around... They have a horrible reputation on top of their rediculous markup.

Hadn't seen a convertible version... Thanks for posting the pics! I, too, do enjoy people's personal mods more, but in all honestly I will spend time looking at any Camaro.

so they're using the concept exhaust valence & Dale Jr wheels with a blower & stickers, and that's how much they want for it?

edit: oh, & drilled rotors - that there makes it worth it
