Question about argent metallic ground effects - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello, I have a few questions for the people who have ordered the ground effects:
- Did you have them painted the color of your car?
- Would argent metallic look good not painted and just clear coated?

I have on order a CGM 2SS and ordered ground effects. I am just wondering if they need to be painted or would they look good without being painted.

We have a few pictures of cars with un-painted GFX. Go look in the yellow, black and IOM car threads. I will be painting mine body color. I would suggest the same.

I painted mine... they came it over a month ago... but still no car

They are a dark dull flat looking gray. It isnt a primer... its the color of the actual plastic

I would paint them if I were you

I can't wait to see your car. I ordered the same in SIM w/o the ground effects thou. CGM was my second choice...prob would have been my color but I was afraid to change it after I finally saw the pics.

I will put it up as soon as I get it...I have been at 3000 since 5/5. I just checked today and it still has not moved. I never had so many problems as picking the color for this car. You can make a case for all of the colors for the Camaro, I don't think any look bad. Even white with black stripes looks good to me but my wife didn't think much of it.
