We don't have any damn tracks here man. All I can get are street runs in. I am beating bolt on gsxr750s though from a dig, so just comparison sake, I know I am well into the 10s. I'll try to vbox tomorrow to see what MPH I am coming up on. |

How do you know it's 630? Do you have a dyno down there?

By rear end do you mean axles, or the diff?

Your differential......as you said you were planning on upgrading the axles. You may be able to get away with it for a while....an A6 for sure...but an M6 is a different animal altogether when it comes to driveline parts.

Ok, so if I did a new gear set, even a stronger set at the same ratio, would that be sufficient? If I can get out of doing a full 9" rear end that'd be ideal.

No...it wouldn't make any difference on the gear set. You can always run it til it blows but just understand...it is going to blow.

This is an old thread, but no use in starting a new one. I've been back and forth with my tuner, and he really likes the F-1A. I think it has better internals than the V7 anyways. But, can a 3.6KB or a 4.0 Whipple do the trick? Still looking for 850 to the ground at least. Yes, I am replacing my clutch to a Monster stage 5. And yes, a 9" will be added. How about the boost activated fuel systems, or the Aeromotive A1000 in tank? I will still be using the stock block, but forged. Either the 416 or stock cubes.

Yes, I fianlly realized that if you're going to do it, do it right. Even if that involves closing your eyes, and throwing your wallet
. I am tentatively looking at the Airlift kit, it seems like a nice alternative. Nice ride quality, and it supposedly helps end wheels hop, not to mention it'll look nice with my wheels. If not, coilovers, toe rods, sways.

Yes, I had stated the 9" kit will be put on as well, but thanks for making sure I had that on the list. Just wish I could do a standard size diff to save some money, but do it wrong once, it'll cost more I guess.
