Best Dealership Experience

I bought my wife a new car Saturday, and boy did I forget how much buying a car sucks. I have 2 Camaros now, and I am wanting to add a 5th gen to my stable. I am in East Texas and would travel wherever to get the car. What dealerships do you guys recommend?

I do not recommend Mac Haik Chevy in Houston. Terrible customer service, bait and switch tactics, cheap skates. Fortunately I am a hard ass and got the deal I wanted after about 4 hours of negotiating/threatening.

Remember that wherever you go, stick to your guns on the deal you want.

As far as Houston goes.....CLASSIC CHEVROLET on Hwy 59 South....they even have a dedicated Camaro/Vette salesman.....that KNOWS about our cars.....and they are also a sponsor of the H-Town Camaro Club

another choice would be to contact BeckyD here on the site and get one through her....and she can have it sent directly to the nearest Chevy Dealership to your location.

Classic Chevy in Grapevine for sales only. It'll be MSRP but you won't get all the fluff that others try to pass along either.

Also look for Becky Rodgers at Rodgers Chevrolet. Both are vendors on here.

Peltier and Peters were terrible and wouldn't recommend them to an enemy. Just my 2 cents.

I would try Yazell Chevrolet in Gilmer. Good people to deal with.

I live north of Dallas and went all the way to Hot Springs, AR. Allen Tillery Auto Center really took care of me. Ask for Herman Hunter and tell him Mr. Morris sent you. 501-520-4343 (501)276-2190 cell.

For me to travel over 400 miles, they really had to take care of me.

Last week I bought my 2012 from Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington off I20...Terry Koontz from fleet was my sales guy and Reggie was in on it in financing....both outstanding guys...no fluff just straight up..they really roll out the red carpet there..brought my car inside to the show room so I could inspect before buying, took me on a tour of whole facility, let me meet my direct contacts in service and parts, and sent me home with a big bucket of car detail goodies and free first oil change...best experience yet!

Wow - what a great experience. Maybe that's why my Dad always did business with Vandergriff for almost 50 years. Realistically, I think that is what GM expects of their dealers on delivery (if you read the sales survey). Mine was an okay experience at Stonebriar in Frisco, but not that good.
