Did CamaroFest Muddy up the FI waters?

I knew I would not be able to attend CF, but was very eager to hear about the information and the match-ups that were going to occur there. But there has been none of that. So what gives?

Both HDRS and I had issues but turned in solid low/mid 12s runs. Then we had rain on the last and a lot of people left thinking the track wouldn't reopen to finish raining. So, I guess nothing was really decided.

Not really match ups by FI manufacture / installers just FI guys going head to head in general. With some good natured ribbing of each other after it was all said and done. Plus some pics of guys showing off the installed units. This just tells me that I will have to make it to the next one.

Well IPF only does supercharger kit, the only supercharger from Rx that was there was Smoke1lt (that I know of) and he was running the OD pulley. Not sure whether or not you've been keeping up with all the FI stuff, but the OD pulley is making so much boost that we run into fuel system issues. However V6owner has the stock Rx supercharger and ran 13.12, IPF ran a very similar time. So imho both these systems are great and will deliver.

Wasn't the Lingenfelter white Camaro a TT V6? I think this is the one Grinch is referring to.

Nope, that was a V8. There were a few TT V8s there and they all ran great. I think SSE 4 SS2 and Darth Emma both ran low 9s as well.

They are referring to this car:

This is the info and time it ran at C5Fest III.

v6 Front end, but definitely a v8 under the hood. It was a beast of a machine.

The fastest that red Camaro from IPF has gone was 13.05 @ 107,

Time Slip as well...

However both Companies are great and have wonderful reviews from their customers.

Oh I must have missed the time slip that was posted of the 13.05 run. Well if they post the slip in the V6 Fast List thread I can add them.

I never saw the ipf car run better than a 13.5 at the fest. Gretchen and smoke both had tune and fuel problems from what i understand. But those were the only sc or turbo cars i saw run. 13.5 in that heat was good but nobody else ran good. Please correct me if wrong. I was at the track friday and saturday for the 1:15 racing.

IIRC they were on the Lingenfelter site and are probably long gone. They were using a Rotrax supercharger. They ran into the fueling issue and just gave up.

I ran a best 12.5 and HDRS ran a 12.3. I think Todd (IPF) ran a 13.1 or 13.2 for his best. I don't remember Smoke's best, but I think it was a low 14. There was another V6 that was in the 13s but don't know who's it was.
