Anyone ever played with an o4 mach 1

Got a buddy that itchin to run.

His car - cat back exhaust and a Diablo tune.

My car - 2010 2SS/RS M6, bone stock.

if hes a auto your going to bury him badly apparently the autos are very bad like close to v6 territory, but the manual shows low-mid 13's which you should still win pretty good if you dont miss a shift

but i dont know how well those cars respond to a exhaust and tune, but i still give you the advantage

I would say you should be able to win. A 5 Spd Mach 1 with the right driver can be pretty damn quick.

Yeah, his car is a 5 speed and he's a pretty good driver. Actually, he's a damn good driver. I've known him forever. We grew up hotrodding, ol'school on the back roads of South Georgia.

That mach 1 is a fast car for what it s. Smoke the hell outta GT's until the new 5.0's hit the road.

I'm not too worried about it. I've held my own with the new 5.0 stangs. Won a few & lost a few, ya know?!

I just wanted to see if anyone else has ran across one yet??

I had one trying to play with me a few weeks back on the highway, but we were in a construction zone and I had my 4 year old in the car with me so.... no go!

From what I've seen, those cars love mods! It's got the same exact motor as the 03-04 Terminators without the supercharger.

He has a time getting it to hookup though.

This is gonna go down tomorrow night at the Atlanta Drag way, Year One Fast Friday event.

Saturday.... the car is going on a trailer, headed to Hendrick performance in S.C. to receive a little attention!!!

Callaway SC572 package!

That's sucks man, sorry to see that! Back on the mach1 you'll destroy him if you can drive decent! Those things are more over rated then the 5.0s... Look for 105-106 traps in that car with those mods, you should be around 109. When I was just headers I raced one about 4 times at the strip... He had drag radials, full exhaust, and intake, I was killing him in the top end! He would jump a solid car off the line and I would pull 2 back by the top of second and take the win every run. He was running 13.1s consitant at around 106 to my high 12s at 111-112. The guy was a good driver too, my friends were watching and said he was shifting faster then me to boot.

Don't see many mach 1's around here. Plenty of GT's and a few 5.0's now a days.
More Terminators than mach's.

I haven't ran this car much, but it sure is fun!

The last "hot rod" (car, anyway) was a 94 rx7 r2 roadster. Puttin down about 500....FUN!!

Lately I've been into trucks.
