We have out LS99 on the way to Texas for a month worth of mods to get ready for SEMA!

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The SOUND!!!! forget the power.....THE SOUND......I was actually frightened by that roar.....when the it was rowing through the gears it sounded awesome, and when he holds it steady, im like, ok he's going to punch it now, lets hear that nice roar.....and my jaw actually dropped....it was WAY meaner then i thought it would be

OK, I guess I'll be the little punk with the stupid question.........

How badly would a kit like that affect the real world, day-to-day gas mileage?

I mean, yeah I want tons of HP and bragging rights too, but I know it comes with a cost other than $.
Speaking of, when do we get to find out how much $ this kit costs?

holy crap! I love the idle. must have been a pretty big cam, it had a good lope to it and seemed to be a little low on the torque, lotta lsa or what?

if mileage is one of your main concerns you should be in a different class of car and down a few cylinders. if someone is in it enough to swap a cam, they arent worried about mp-geees

I would think not as bad as you think. a gain like that in my ls1 only lost me about 1-1.5 mpg

and its ok to worry about mpg. But the biggest mod that effects mpg is how far you push that little skinny peddal on the right of the floorboard
