2012 Camaro SS vs 2007 Porsche Cayenne Turbo

Hey guys,

My friend drives a 2007 Cayenne Turbo, and he keeps telling me his car would definitely beat my 2012 SS on a strip.

So the question is, can he? Or will the SS be faster because it's not as a big?

Also, how can you get a good launch when your on a drag strip (L99)?

Thank you!

You should win in the quarter pretty easily.

He may get ya to 60 though. Those AWD launches can be pretty impressive.

2007 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 0-60 mph 4.8 Quarter mile 13.5

Well, I think REALISTICALLY it is a drivers race, because of his AWD 13.5 is probably about a given for him. On the other hand there are far more SSs in the mid 13s than not.....

i used to work at Brumos Porsche in jacksonville fl and my bolt on 99 z-28 beat a one that had a performance chip installed. notgonna say whos it was hint Bob Snaudgrasses son while a good friend a technician was driving. anywho they are quick for their size but they are really heavy and only the pros who know how to launch that tank know how to get it in the low to mid 13's. u should be fine with ease.
