GMS Pricing ... Whose got it?

Just wondering guys. I was sifting through the threads and looking to see if anybody got their cars @ the GMS price. If you got it for the GMS price, how much did you get it for and what trim level/options did ya get?

theres no way you saved 2500 with supplier, that had to be employee.... i got basically the same thing, and i built mine and my supplier is only 1100 less

GSU is supplier. I got it thru my credit union and Team One in Charlotte, MI honored it. Think it saved me a little over $1,000.00

Ooh, and I forgot to mention. I did get it at GMS. I don't work for GM, but my mom used to and still gets the discount and is allowed to share it with immediate family.

He would still qualify as a retiree, but he can't give it to you (immediate family only)

So, Im still a bit fuzzy on the GMS, GMU thing. I was under the impression that GMS stood for General Motors Supplier. But everyone states that GMS is the employee discount and the GMU is the supplier. Not saying I don't believe you guys, but then what does GMU stand for?

Ive read that GMU can be used by employees of a GM dealership while for GMS you need to be a direct GM employee.

My brother works at a local GM dealership....so is it possible that I could benefit from that and get GSU pricing? Or is this for employees of the dealership only?

Thanks!

I have supplier discount through work, but I have not found a dealer that will accept it. They say it's now allowed on the Camaro, but that contradicts what I see on the internet.

If the dealers honor it, do they get some of what they give the customers back from GM?

Does anyone know of a dealer in Houston that offers it?

I have one that says the CU discount of 500 is all they will go with MSRP. But that is the best I have found so far. But I am going to have to go with that if I don't find anyone else, because since I lost my first order I want to get this show on the road!!!
