Question about launching with a stall

Should you power break it or not? I've been power breaking and letting go of the break at about 3.5-4k. I have a 3200 stall so I feel as though I'm not using it.

I usually experiment with power-braking at various rpms, and then I try some off-idle hits too. I haven't run a converter in my L99 but in the past when I ran Yank stuff it liked to be power-braked. What do you run?

As John said, it completely depends on the converter. My experience with Yank is to bring the rpm up on them. It's probably something you're going to have to experiment with.

Three runs total, 12.31 @114 with a 1.8 60 on stock tires.

A low 1.8 would be pretty impressive to me on stock Pirellis, best I have gone is 1.92.

We used to foot-brake our Yank 4th gen stuff pretty high, but the Precision converter I ran at one point like to flashed off idle. Just have to experiment.

Just got a 4000 stall from PTC in my 4th gen, and the told me to flash it from about 2500.

My old 2800 TCI in the car like to be up on the converter to about 2200.

I used to start at about 1200 and work my way up. My old 3600 stall liked around 2500 foot brake for the best 60ft. If your stall is rated at say 3500 you don't want to foot brake it up to 3500 I can tell you that, youll be loading up the suspension to much!
